Co-founder and engineer who's spent 15+ years building things people actually use, from a real-time collaborative legal document editor to topographic map apps that topped the Finnish App Store. Currently CTO at Docue, still writing code every day. Happiest when shipping fast with a small team and a short distance from idea to production.

Co-founded and built the product from first commit to ISO 27001-certified platform serving thousands of businesses. Team of 1 to 15, distributed across Finland and nearshore partners; I still code day to day. TypeScript/Node.js and PHP/Laravel on the backend, PostgreSQL, Vue and React on the frontend, AWS with Kubernetes in production.

Builder 2.0. As a team, we designed and shipped the next-generation collaborative legal document editor. Multiplayer-native from day one, built on Y.js with WebSocket sync and CRDTs for conflict resolution. The hard part was replacing a version users already loved with something they didn't know they needed yet. It worked, and unlocked capabilities like live co-editing and AI-assisted drafting.

Founded at age 16 to publish my own iOS apps. Today Shingle serves as a small studio for shipping side projects, including Vanhatkartat and the Topo maps series for Finland, Sweden and Norway.

Co-founded straight out of high school because we wanted to build things. Started with iOS apps, grew the team to 25+ developers. Our most ambitious project was an end-to-end ERP for a car inspection company, covering the inspection workflow with sensor integration, online reservations, POS, and Traficom government API integration. Along the way, built a proprietary CMS and e-commerce platform from scratch.

Web & iOS

Built a self-made georeferencing pipeline to align 20,000+ plain scanned JPGs to real-world coordinates, stitch neighbouring sheets, and pre-render map tile pyramids served as static assets, creating a free public archive of Finnish maps from 1870–1997. Still serves a steady stream of daily visitors. Covered by YLE, Kaleva and Lapin Kansa.

Topo maps: Finland / Sweden / Norway

iOS

The first topographic map app on iOS, and for many years a top-5 paid download on the Finnish App Store. Offline topographic maps for hikers across the Nordics.
